Automotive Industry Matters – AIM – has been informing Australia’s car industry continuously for more than 40 years.
Founded in the late 1960s by Trevor Dawson-Grove, and running as a newsletter for more than 40 years, AIM was one of the longest-running automotive newsletters in the world! The twice-a-month Newsletter and more recently the AIM Online Report brought readers the latest industry news; interviews with business and Government leaders; interpreted Canberra automotive industry policy measures; published comprehensive vehicle market statistics; and provided money making/saving dealership tips. AIM's readers have covered the automotive industry spectrum: local and overseas vehicle manufacturers, component suppliers, banks and finance houses, fleet operators, metro and rural dealers, federal, state and local government departments, motoring associations, auction houses, media groups, internet service providers. In 2010, Trevor Dawson-Grove joined with Mike Woodgate to re-launch AIM as a news website providing critical analysis and insightful comment on the industry. AIM - through its guises as the AIM Newsletter, AIM Newsletter Online and now the AIM news website - has been watched by those who know how important it is to stay abreast of what is happening in this dynamic industry. In addition to our online news and commentary, AIM has an extensive database of news, comment and data that spans more than four decades.
